This Privacy Policy explains how Infinite Attraction, LLC, doing business as Mezcal Social Club ("Mezcal Social Club," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit our website, join as a member, or attend our events. By using our site or becoming a member, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email, city, Instagram handle, favorite agaves, profile photo, and short bio when you join or edit your member profile.
- Payment information: membership and event payments are processed by our providers (such as Luma and Stripe). We do not collect or store your full card numbers.
- Information stored on your device: our site uses your browser's local storage to remember your language choice, saved favorites, and profile inputs on the device you use. This stays on your device.
- Location (only if you ask): the Agave Atlas can use your device location to show spots near you, only when you tap "Near me." We don't store it.
How we use your information
We use your information to run your membership, host and invite you to events, operate the opt-in member directory and agave matches, send you updates you've asked for, provide partner perks, and improve what we offer.
The member directory & matches
The member directory and agave matches are opt-in. You choose whether you're visible to other members, and you can hide your profile anytime by editing it. When you connect with another member, you do so through the Instagram handle they chose to share, not through us.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (such as Luma, Stripe, and our hosting and email tools), other members if you opt in to the directory, and when required by law or to protect our rights and our community.
Brands & partners
We work with agave brands, producers, and partners to bring you products, tastings, perks, and experiences, and we may receive product or support from them. Brands may also want to reach our community.
We do not sell, rent, or give your personal information to brands or partners. If a brand wants to reach members, we do it for them, for example by sharing an offer or message with members on the brand's behalf, without handing over your contact details. At most, we may share aggregated, de-identified insights that do not identify you (for example, general interest in a style or region). You can opt out of partner communications anytime by emailing info@mezcalsocialclub.com.
Your choices
You can review and update your profile anytime, hide yourself from the directory, unsubscribe from our emails using the link in any message, and ask us to access or delete your information by emailing info@mezcalsocialclub.com. We'll respond as required by applicable law.
Event photography
Our events are photographed and filmed. By attending, you grant us the right to use your image, voice, and likeness on our website, social media, and Instagram, and in materials we share with the brands and partners we work with, for marketing and promotional purposes. This is set out in full in our Terms. If you'd prefer not to be featured going forward, let our team know at the event or email info@mezcalsocialclub.com.
Age
Mezcal Social Club is strictly for those 21 and over. Our site and membership are not directed to anyone under 21, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Security & changes
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, though no method is perfectly secure. We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above shows when it last changed.
